Collected over $1,000

The VIPI Walk at Como Park in St. Paul, MN:

Back: Cliff and Lucy Baumbach, Sandy Scherbarth (inset), Grace Banks Baumbach grandaughter), Dyane Nelson (the red dot is the ticket for getting the meal)
Front: Gail Fuad, Dyane Nelson and Becky Durrenberger (inset)

Carole Bagley stopped by earlier for a quick visit.

This year's cold, rainy weather discouraged many people from showing up but those who did, enjoyed the Divine Swine catered pig/turkey roast dinner with all the trimmings.

Sandy Scherbarth wears Ragan's shirt but soon covers it with a warm sweatshirt.

Once again Dyane fraternizes with the pig.

Many attendees, including Dyane and Grace, are attracted to the St. Paul police horses who enjoy the fresh grass treats.

Walkers head out to walk around the lake

A warm blanket makes the walk more comfortable along the blooming Spring trees

All ages participate in the walk to remember those who are no longer living in this world

The evening turned out beautiful and even warmed up a bit.

In addition to the blooming trees, various water birds showed up during the walk.

Lighting of the luminaries and a song by Brad Paisley was a touching ending to the evening.
